I made this Mushroom bag using So Crafty chunky yarn in the colours snow and autumn. The Cool thing about this bag is that the lid of the bag is always attached.
-MATERIALS-
· Super chunky yarn.
· 10mm crochet hook
· Embroidery needle and scissors
-ABBREVIATIONS-
· Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring)
· CH – Chain
· ST – Stitch
· SL ST – Slip stitch
· SK ST – Skip stitch
· SC – Single crochet
· DC – Double crochet
· SC2TOG – Single crochet two together
· JOIN and FO – SL ST into next ST, chain one, cut yarn
· FO- Fasten off

Bag – make with white yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}
2. 2SC into every ST around {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}
4. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {24}
5. (SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {30}
6. BLO SC around {30}
7-12. SC around {30}
13. (SC3, SC2TOG) 6 times {24}
14-16. SC around {24}
Join and FO.
Bag Top – make with red yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}
2. 2SC into every ST around {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}
4. SC around {18}
5. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {24}
6. (SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {30}
7. SC around {30}

Join and FO.
Bag Handle – make with white yarn.
1. CH87, from the 2nd CH from hook SC across {86}
Join and FO.
Pass both ends of handle through the slits made on either side of the bag top.
Sew both ends of the bag handle to the last round of the top of bag. Make sure you attach the ends evenly spaced apart.
Spots – make 7-8 with white yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}
Join and FO.
Pin and sew onto the bag top.
